Région du Donbass, Ukraine, 2014. Mykola, un professeur de physique, renonce à son mode de vie paisible suite à la perte de sa femme enceinte, tuée par des soldats à l’aube de l’invasion russe. Souhaitant se venger, il réussit à intégrer les forces armées ukrainiennes et obtient le poste convoité de sniper. Sa cible devient alors un sniper d’élite russe dont l’élimination pourrait changer le cours du conflit.
