Janvier 2020. Une équipe de tournage se réunit dans un hôtel près de Wuhan pour reprendre la production d'un film interrompu dix ans plus tôt. Mais un événement inattendu vient à nouveau contrarier les préparatifs et l’équipe est confinée avec leurs écrans comme seul contact avec le monde extérieur.

Leur rapport tourne au jeu dangereux alors qu'autour d'eux, les étudiants commencent à manifester, exigeant la démocratie et la liberté. Elle tient un journal dont les fragments en voix off illustrent le film d’un bout à l’autre. Ce journal évoque l'inquiétude, l'exaltation et les paradoxes de l'amour absolu.

This film interweaves interesting ancient legends in the storyteller's journey of exploration, immersing the audience in the mysterious folk myths. Faced with the impact of digital media and the loneliness of oral traditions, the film records a race against time and also records the national memory that is about to be forgotten.
