تدور أحداث الفيلم في قالب كوميدي بوليسي؛ حيث يهرب خيري من السجن، والذي يقوم بدوره مجدى وهبة، ورشاد، والذي يقوم بدورة مصطفى متولي، وثالث، ويحاولون استرداد المال من حنفي الابهة، والذي يقوم به عادل إمام، فيخطفوا دعاء زوجة أحمد صابر شقيق حنفي، فتكلف المباحث شريف بركات بالقبض عليهم، فيخرج حنفي من السجن على ليتمكن من القبض عليهم.
