Ancienne vedette de music-hall, Amanda a toujours vécu au jour le jour. Mais cette période de relative sérénité semble révolue. Amanda affronte maintenant de sérieux problèmes financiers. Afin de sortir de ce mauvais pas, elle envisage de publier de croustillants souvenirs. Philippe Morhange, son ex-mari, devenu ministre, ne l'entend pas de cette oreille. Il resurgit aussitôt dans la vie d'Amanda et s'oppose vigoureusement à son projet. En dépit de leur séparation, une certaine complicité unit toujours ces deux êtres très différents. Il est, pour sa part, le symbole même de la réussite. Quant à Amanda, elle a, d'une certaine manière, gâché ses chances. Mais grâce à sa fougue et à son optimisme, elle est convaincue que l'on peut, en toutes circonstances, faire table rase du passé et tout reprendre à zéro... Capté au Théâtre de Paris à Paris 9ème.
