Christoph Pehofer a fait un voyage de neuf mois à travers l'Amérique du Nord et l'Asie. Rester dans des auberges était une alternative rare. Ce qu'il a fait à la place était de dormir dans les salons de inconnus - Couchsurfing. L'objectif principal du film est les personnes qui participent au Couchsurfing et leur grande diversité.
