La ville de Lambèse est le théâtre de tortures, tant physiques que morales, pour les résistants de la Guerre d'Algérie. Sous forme d'un récit fictionnel adapté du roman «Le camp» d'Abdelhamid Benzine, sont dépeintes les conditions dans les camps spéciaux de l'armée coloniale, où nous accompagnons un groupe de détenus, dans leur quotidien animé de violence. Les gardes sont d'anciens officiers nazis, qui ont pour mission, de faire abandonner toute résistance, et toute foi idéologique, à force d'humiliations et de corvées.
