La vie extraordinaire de Sachiko Hanai
Après une fusillade dans un bar, Sachiko Hanai, prostituée philosophe et intello, reçoit un coup de feu en pleine tête. Au lieu de la tuer, la balle lui laisse un trou béant en plein milieu du front et Sachiko s'enfuit emportant avec elle un précieux cylindre en acier contenant une réplique de l'index du président Bush. Dotée d'étonnants pouvoirs depuis cet incident, la jeune femme est poursuivie par des Nord-Coréens désireux de s'emparer du doigt, dispositif essentiel à leur plan d'attaque nucléaire.
