Malheureusement, Mario échoue et Bowser capture Peach et rentra dans la TV. Énervé par sa défaite contre Bowser et par Luigi qui en revenant se moquait de lui car il parlait de Peach en secouant la télévision, Mario voit un bijou assez étrange et le ramassa.
