Qui écoute qui ?
Karin, retraitée sans enfant, s'ennuie. Sa belle-sœur, Philippa, qui se trouve dans la même situation, s'occupe occasionnellement d'un enfant depuis quelque temps. Comblée par ses nouvelles fonctions, Philippa suggère à Karin et à son ami Gerhard, médecin à la retraite, de faire de même et de prendre en charge un enfant pendant quelques heures par semaine. Les choses ne se passent pas comme prévu.
