Un jour, après avoir repris conscience, Mayumi découvrit avec horreur qu'elle avait été emprisonnée. Ses ravisseurs étaient deux frères, Ken Shimizu et Yoshio Shimizu. Les frères se partageaient la possession de Mayumi ; un tel comportement était leur pratique habituelle. Tout au long de cette épreuve, Mayumi avait les yeux bandés, ce qui l'empêchait de savoir qui la violait. Kyōko avait été emprisonnée et agressée sexuellement par les frères Shimura auparavant, et avec le temps, elle avait fini par accepter leurs actes dépravés. Kyōko s'efforçait de former Mayumi, car ce n'était qu'en accomplissant la tâche de briser la nouvelle venue qu'elle pourrait être libérée et retrouver sa liberté.
