Un Premier ministre britannique abandonne le poste d'unité du Special Air Service (SAS) en Afghanistan pour garantir la conclusion d'un accord d'armement de 80 milliards de livres sterling, assurant ainsi sa réélection. On pense que tous les soldats de l'unité SAS sont morts, jusqu'à ce que deux mois plus tard, l'un d'entre eux, une femme capitaine, soit retrouvé par les forces spéciales italiennes et retourne au Royaume-Uni pour enquêter.
