Après avoir passé 12 ans dans son pays natal en Turquie sous la tutelle de sa grand-mère, Oktay va retrouver ses parents installés en Allemagne.
Une histoire de retrouvailles familiales pleine d’espoir et de promesses dans une Europe des années 80′ où l’univers social et culturel sont à l’opposé de ce qu’a connu ce jeune garçon. C’est la bataille de survie d’Oktay confronté à la maladie qu’on lui découvre et à l’incapacité des uns et des autres à faire face. Oktay est têtu, il aime la vie et il est encore là aujourd’hui pour la partager avec nous.
