Rona, Azim's Mother
Azim, réfugié afghan qui travaille de nuit, vit à Téhéran. En tant que fils aîné de la famille, il s’arrange pour envoyer son petit frère Faroogh et sa mère clandestinement en Allemagne. Mais juste avant le départ, Faroogh lui apprend que la mère préfère rester en Iran pour s’occuper de ses petits-enfants. Azim se sent trahi. Il découvre aussi que sa mère a un besoin urgent d’une greffe de rein. Il devra alors faire un choix douloureux entre sa vie et celle de l’être qui lui est le plus cher.
