Une jeune Américaine se rend à Paris pour travailler dans une bijouterie. Dans le magasin, elle fait la rencontre de deux employés, une femme et un homme, qui projettent secrètement de cambrioler la bijouterie. La jeune fille va non seulement constituer un obstacle à la réalisation de ce casse mais également à leur liaison amoureuse.
