Liz Manners est l'animatrice d'une émission populaire où elle donne des conseils sur les relations amoureuses. Un soir, elle reçoit l'appel de Christine. Convaincue que cette dernière est en danger, elle lui conseil de quitter son mari, Kyle. Alors que Christine fuit son mari, elle percute une voiture et perd la vie. Kyle, persuadé que Liz en est la responable, souhaite se venger.
