A 35 ans, Alexandra, dynamique directrice de création, file le parfait amour avec Marc. Un soir, elle réunit ses amies Isabelle, Lise et Marie pour leur annoncer qu'elle va le demander en mariage. Titillée par son horloge biologique, la jeune femme se sent prête à avoir un enfant. Mais peu après, Marc lui apprend qu'il la quitte pour vivre avec Diane, ex-mannequin. Le lendemain, à son travail, Alexandra cache difficilement sa peine. Mais personne n'est dupe. Pour l'aider à remonter la pente, ses copines mettent en tête de lui trouver le géniteur idéal.
