The mansion is inhabited by three scary - yet sweet - ghosts who like to play tricks on innocent visitors: A cute and girlish ghost who likes to collect photographs of her terrified guests. The remaining two boy ghosts compete for her attention by taking photographs of their scare victims. Their scariness is the key to popularity in the realm of ghosts. The boy ghosts are excited at the prospect of hunting their new and unusual guests, Sonic and Chip. Who will win the ultimate competition to her heart?

In a world where communication has grown into big business, the lack of it between individuals is almost a paradox. We live in tight little compartments that are not easily penetrated. Individual differences are regarded with suspicion or scorn. This animated film parodies the human condition in a few quick, colourful sketches, amusingly, without words, yet leaving food for thought.

Déjanira, danseuse brésilienne qui ne parle pas un mot de Français, monte de justesse dans l’express Paris-Nantes-Saint Nazaire de 17h27, dit le « Maine Océan ». Le Garrec et Pontoiseau, les deux contrôleurs du train, l’interpellent car, dans sa hâte, elle n’a pas composté son billet. Tandis qu’ils tentent de lui expliquer la situation dans un anglais très approximatif, une passagère avocate, Me Mimi de Saint-Marc, prend parti pour la jeune fille. Le ton monte et l’avocate entraîne sa nouvelle amie à Baugé où elle doit plaider la cause d’un marin de l’île d’Yeu, Marcel Petitgas, accusé à tord d’avoir molesté un automobiliste. Pontoiseau de son côté voudrait bien revoir la belle Déjanira…
