This work was created in response to the passing of Solomon's lifelong friend, Mark LaPore, at the age of 53, on September 11, 2005.

Il le renvoie pourtant irrémédiablement à sa propre situation et celle de son fils, confronté comme lui à une séparation parentale et au départ du père.
