grand écran spin-off de la sitcom seventies. Mildred Roper (Yootha Joyce, qui est mort peu de temps après le tournage a été terminé) est déterminé à faire mari George (Brian Roper) célèbrent leur anniversaire de mariage dans le style, dans un hôtel chic à Londres. Cependant, à l'arrivée George se trompe par un criminel Gangland pour un tueur à gages rival, et bientôt les Ropers se retrouvent à leur cou en difficulté sur le mauvais côté de la loi!
