Golden Earring s'est taillé une place unique dans l'histoire de la musique néerlandaise et internationale en marquant de gros tubes avec les classiques du rock Radar Love et Twilight Zone. Les hommes n'ont pas un faible pour les grandes fêtes et les anniversaires, mais pour le 50e anniversaire, une exception a été faite. Fin 2015, un grand concert anniversaire a eu lieu au Ziggo Dome d'Amsterdam.

Moe tells Curly to wish for quintuplets, and Curly replies, "We'll honeymoon in Canada!" (a reference to the Dionne quintuplets).
