Pendant un camp d'été, trois jeunes garçons défient la légende locale et profanent un ancien totem dans les bois. Ils déclenchent la fureur d'une créature mystérieuse qui tue deux d'entre eux. Dix ans plus tard, Elliot, le seul survivant de cette nuit, revient avec quelques moniteurs pour ré-ouvrir le camp d'été abandonné avec la ferme intention de tirer les choses au clair.
