Match tragique
Tom Ferguson, vedette de l'équipe de hockey des «Indians» est tué au cours d'un match, lors d'un accident avec ses coéquipiers Dick Adams et Bill Drake. Convaincu que cet accident cache en fait autre chose, le frère du joueur, Alec Ferguson, se rend à New York pour découvrir la vérité sur l'affaire. Sous l'identité de Steve Moreau, il parvient à intégrer l'équipe. Alec découvre bientôt une sombre histoire de paris...
