Georges Audefey est un mari volage vivant au crochets de sa femme Marion. Excédée par les promesses non tenues de Georges, Catherine, l'une de ses maîtresses, décide de révéler à Marion leur relation. Georges va se servir de Maurice Lappin, bénévole dans une association caritative, pour éviter la rencontre.
