De son côté, Saeki finit par découvrir que la clé du mystère réside dans un événement traumatisant survenu durant la jeunesse de sa copine, laquelle, partie à la recherche de son petit chien disparu, avait découvert une grotte servant de cachette à un dangereux personnage...
