Depeche mode 1982 : Le début de la soi-disant phase sombre
En même temps que La version remastérisé du premier second de Depeche Mode est édité le film "82 : Le début de la phase soi-disant sombre" de 26 mn. Après le départ de Vince Clarke, l'un des membres fondateurs, le reste du groupe doit lui trouver un remplaçant. L'heureux élu fut finalement Alan Wilder (qui venait de passer les auditions avec succès). Mais ce dernier ne participa pas à l'élaboration de l'album, car le reste du groupe voulait se prouver qu'ils étaient capables de faire un album par eux-mêmes, sans le concours de Clarke.
