Le Testament du Capitaine Drew
Duke Slade est un chercheur de perles qui mène une vie solitaire à travers les îles du Pacifique. Au cours d'une expédition dangereuse, il manque de périr et trouve refuge sur un baleinier. Le Capitaine Abner Drew, mourant, lui explique que son Second, Rand Husk, prépare une mutinerie. En conséquence, il demande à Duke d'intervenir et d'épouser sa fille Janet. Duke va s'exécuter avec plaisir pour cette seconde partie, après avoir permis au baleinier de retrouver sa quiétude.
