Enquête autour d’un désastre environnemental
80% des végétaux de la planète dépendent du travail des butineuses. Les abeilles disparaissent depuis 20 ans et massivement depuis 4 ans. Les apiculteurs découvrent des ruches vidées de leurs ouvrières, ou parfois un tapis de cadavres. Une disparition qui touche aussi bien les abeilles domestiques que les butineurs sauvages. L’hécatombe dans certaines rushes d’Amérique du nord, d’Europe ou d’Asie est si violente que certains arbres ne donnent plus de fruits, faute de pollinisation.
