Ils se voient alloués un pauvre arpent de terre rocailleux comme seul héritage, mais notre héros promet qu’il aura sa revanche. Celle-ci se dessine très vite puisqu’il découvre du granit sur son terrain, et dix-huit ans plus tard le voilà devenu richissime. Mais Nilambari ne l’a pas oublié et compte bien se venger de celui qui l’a rejeté.
