L'esprit de famille
Yvan et Max sont frères et, bien qu’une grande affection les unisse, ils pourraient s’entre-tuer sur bon nombre de sujets fondamentaux. Yvan a un défaut majeur qui lui pourrit l’existence : il est hypocondriaque. Max, au contraire, est d’un caractère optimiste et insouciant. Leur petite soeur Hélène souffre depuis de nombreuses années de graves problèmes rénaux. Une greffe s’impose d’urgence. Le rein d’un donneur « vivant » aurait une plus grande chance de réussite. Dès lors, Yvan et Max sont sollicités et vont subir de nombreux examens. Un seul sera choisi pour effectuer le don. Une compétition entre les deux frères s’engage, au cours de laquelle les deux donneurs potentiels espèrent secrètement être… recalés. Car, s’ils éprouvent une affection sincère pour leur soeur et une volonté absolue de la sauver, la peur est bien présente chez nos deux héros et leur famille.
