Tandis qu’ils tentent de lui expliquer la situation dans un anglais très approximatif, une passagère avocate, Me Mimi de Saint-Marc, prend parti pour la jeune fille. Le ton monte et l’avocate entraîne sa nouvelle amie à Baugé où elle doit plaider la cause d’un marin de l’île d’Yeu, Marcel Petitgas, accusé à tord d’avoir molesté un automobiliste. Pontoiseau de son côté voudrait bien revoir la belle Déjanira…
