Leurs ordres... Faites couler le Tirpitz !
Dans une base britannique en Norvège pendant la deuxième guerre mondiale , Le commandant Fraser est convaincu de pouvoir , si on lui en donne les moyens , couler le «Tirpitz», le navire-amiral de la flotte allemande. Il fait suivre à ses hommes un entraînement intensif de plongée, mais l’amirauté n’approuve pas son initiative, qu’elle juge trop risquée. Passant outre, Fraser demande à son équipage de jouer le jeu. Abercrombie et Ramsey plongent et passent à travers les deux grilles de défense anti-sous-marine afin de prouver l’efficacité de son plan et de son matériel. Tandis que Fraser rend visite à son supérieur l’amiral Ryder, la torpille explose à l’heure prévue. Ryder, convaincu, lui laisse alors carte blanche. Sous couvert d’un bateau de pêche auquel est arrimé la torpille téléguidée, il envoie quatre de ses hommes vers l’étroit fjord où se cache le «Tirpitz»...

Plus tard, la panthère attache le hamac du petit homme au-dessus du feu de camp et envoie la tente avec l’homme en elle flottant le long de la rivière vers une cascade. Chaque fois que le chien est blâmé, l’homme déteste son animal.
