Pendant que le reste de l'Amérique dormait, le cinéaste/musicien Giuseppe Andrews a réalisé plus de 30 longs métrages expérimentaux. Situés dans un univers alternatif dément (Ventura, Californie), ils sont peuplés d'alcooliques et de toxicomanes réels, de personnes âgées qui parlent mal et d'habitants de terrains de caravaning vêtus de costumes de vache et de perruques de magasin de costumes. Le réalisateur Adam Rifkin crée un portrait surréaliste, outrageusement drôle et étrangement touchant d'un véritable artiste marginal qui habite un monde dont peu d'entre nous connaissent l'existence.
