Rain
Apprenant la mort de son grand frère, tué au Vietnam, une fillete de 9 ans décide de léguer Rain, son fidèle berger allemand, à l'armée américaine. Au camp de formation, le jeune soldat Holland se prend d'affection pour Rain et l'adopte. Avant d'être envoyé au front, il vont subir un entraînement spécifique pour déceler la présence de l'ennemi et déjouer les pièges vietcongs. Mais confronté à la réalité de la guerre, ils devront se surpasser pour accomplir leur devoir.
