Lorsque le chien entend l’homme crier à l’aide, il saisit le couteau dans sa bouche, et voyant cela, l’homme blâme le chien pour ce qui s’est passé. Plus tard, la panthère attache le hamac du petit homme au-dessus du feu de camp et envoie la tente avec l’homme en elle flottant le long de la rivière vers une cascade. Chaque fois que le chien est blâmé, l’homme déteste son animal.
