L'académie Nanyo part en voyage scolaire en direction de Kyoto mais ce ne sera pas de tout repos. Les autres écoles de la région du Kanto (à savoir Rakuyo, Kyosho, Yoshu ou encore Seito) se retrouvent eux aussi à Kyoto pour leur voyage scolaire... Coïncidence ? En réalité, une immense chasse aux tsuba se déroule dans Kyoto. Ces tsuba servent à remplacer les pouvoirs spirituels de leur Magatama. Le but : Battre le plus de combattants et ainsi posséder autant de tsuba que possible !
