Trois losers se retrouvent dans un pub où ils ont leurs habitudes : Ray, obsédé par les voyages dans le temps, Toby, fondu de cinéma, et Pete, un grand cynique. Au cours de cette soirée par comme les autres, ils vont vivre d'étranges expériences temporelles avec Cassie, une jeune fille qui déclare surgir du futur.
