Fidèle à l’esprit révolutionnaire de l’époque, le film n’a aucune intrigue proprement dite et semble avoir été en grande partie inventé sur place. Nous suivons Catman dans un univers fantastique bizarre présenté sous une exposition négative qui inverse les valeurs de couleur (le noir est blanc et vice versa) et les mots écrits. L'homme aux chats vole une voiture puis récupère une jeune fille qu'il promet d'emmener au « paradis ». Le paradis s'avère être un château de campagne habité par plusieurs autres masques d'animaux portant des cinglés...

[...] Somehow we negotiated access to a Canon XL1 3-CCD MiniDV camera and shotgun mic from the local public access station, in exchange for taping the high school graduation we didn’t participate in.
