Le patriarche d'une famille de fermiers engraisse une dinde afin de l'abattre pour le dîner de Thanksgiving. Il engraisse la volaille en lui offrant un véritable festin de rôti de bœuf, de jambon, de fruits, de légumes, de gâteaux et de tartes. Daffy Duck, jaloux de ces festins, veut dissuader la dinde de les manger en l'invitant à faire un régime, afin d'échapper au funeste destin qui l'attend. Daffy Duck espère surtout s'octroyer tous ces bons plats.
