Crimson Bat - Oichi: Wanted, Dead or Alive
Oichi l'Aveugle aide une femme à échapper à l'emprise d'un haut fonctionnaire du gouvernement afin qu'elle puisse partir avec l'homme qu'elle aime. Le fonctionnaire offre une récompense de cinquante pièces d'or pour sa tête et bientôt, une horde de chasseurs de primes se lance à sa poursuite. Trois d'entre eux s'associent pour accomplir cette mission : l'un est un expert en escrime, un autre est un grand maître de judo et le troisième est redoutable avec une chaîne. Pour s'échapper, elle se dirige vers le village de pêcheurs d'Itso, mais se retrouve bientôt face à Sankuro, l'épéiste...

Araki faces extreme hostility from the Japanese public, who find it hard to believe that most followers of the cult had no idea of the attacks and even harder to understand why these followers remain devoted to the religion, if not the violence.
