Alice veut désespérément arrêter de jouer du piano pour pouvoir aller s'amuser avec ses amis. Elle trompe sa mère en lui faisant croire qu'elle joue toujours en demandant à son chien de jouer pour elle, puis elle et sa bande font du stop jusqu'à l'étang local où ils passent leur temps à pêcher. Une fois sur place, elle imagine ce que ce serait d'aller pêcher au pôle Nord.

The film is a continuous time-lapse with multiple exposures of the sunset from the same angle and position on 16mm film. The shoot was done in a span of 5 years. The title 13 is because the time-lapse has a 13-second interval per frame.
