Wayne Shorter 4tet - Jazz à Vienne
Le magnifique quartet de Wayne Shorter ( Wayne Shorter au saxophone ténor , Danilo Perez au piano , John Patitucci à la basse et Brian Blade à la batterie ) était l'hôte de l'édition 2010 du célèbre Jazz à Vienne du festival. Parmi les joueurs encore actifs , Shorter est parmi les plus admirés , y compris le numéro un. Après Weather Report, Wayne a battu pendant un certain temps les territoires de la musique du monde . Puis, dans la dernière décennie, il a trouvé dans son quartet une sorte d'" aleph" du jazz . Un atome dans la musique de l'histoire afro-américaine à laquelle toutes les histoires reviennent et qui tendent tous. Les compagnons de confiance et irremplaçables de cette aventure sont Danilo Perez au piano, John Patitucci à la basse et Brian Blade à la batterie.
