The protagonists of the film are residents of a nursing home run by nuns. One of the nuns, Maria, wants to introduce discipline, but it is not easy. Le ton monte et l’avocate entraîne sa nouvelle amie à Baugé où elle doit plaider la cause d’un marin de l’île d’Yeu, Marcel Petitgas, accusé à tord d’avoir molesté un automobiliste. Pontoiseau de son côté voudrait bien revoir la belle Déjanira…

Trois ans plus tard, l'histoire d'amour entre Pie et Kim n'est plus au beau fixe. Pour poursuivre leur études, elles se séparent pendant quelques mois pour effectuer des stages. Kim part en montagne rejoindre l'exploitation agricole d'un ami de son père, tandis que Pie part à la mer avec son ami Puey. Mais de nouvelles rencontres et surtout deux nouveaux personnages (Jam et Maysa) vont rendre leur relation plus compliquée. Des tensions vont apparaître. Des relations nouvelles vont se créer. Leur amour va-t-il réussir à survivre à toutes ces péripéties ?
