Anya suit les traces de son père, ancien champion finlandais de courses de chiens de traîneau. En Finlande, elle participe à la mythique course de Noël qu'il a perdue autrefois, mais son chien de tête est blessé. Alors qu'elle déteste les imprévus, la voici contrainte d'affronter l'ancien rival de son père, Monty, tout en apprenant à faire confiance à de nouveaux partenaires de tous poils... et à aimer Noël à nouveau.
