Jeonim, une conférencière, demande à son oncle de diriger un sketch théâtral monté par le département de son école. Chaque jour, Jeonim se rend dans un ruisseau voisin pour dessiner et tenter d'en saisir les motifs. Son oncle décide de réaliser le sketch en raison de ses souvenirs d'en avoir dirigé un dans cette même université, 40 ans plus tôt. Un incident scandaleux survient parmi les étudiants, et Jeonim et son oncle finissent par s'en mêler.
