Le voyage de globe-trotter que Henry Jones Jr. entreprend au début des années 1900 le conduira ensuite, lui et sa famille, en Russie. Les difficultés du voyage donnent le mal du pays à Indy, mais il n'oubliera pas de sitôt son voyage avec le vieil homme têtu. La prochaine destination d'Indy est la Grèce, où sa mère Anna se rend compte que père et fils doivent passer plus de temps ensemble.
