Pinheiro, le roi du "triangle d'or", contrôle, à l'aide d'une armée de mercenaires, le trafic de drogue à la frontière du Brésil et de la Colombie. Neuf juges boliviens ont essayé de l'extrader, tous ont été assassinés. Il reste au colonel Bacall, du bureau des narcotiques de Washington, la solution extrême : envoyer trois agents kidnapper Pinheiro. Mais une fuite fait échouer le plan. Les trois hommes se retrouvent dans la jungle hostile peuplé d'ennemis. Une belle indigène rejoint leur combat. Leur seule façon de s'en sortir est la voie la plus dure, la seule possible: la voie du sang !
