L'objectif : protéger la matriarche, et son riche héritage, des griffes de Nunzio, un séducteur collant qui prévoit d'épouser la "nonna" et de l'emmener en Amérique du Sud probablement dans le but de la faire disparaître au fin fond de l'Amazonie. Pour sauver sa mère, Anna entraîne alors mari et enfants dans son projet délirant de tuer le prétendant quelques jours avant le mariage ! Entre querelles, anciennes rancunes et drames, les meurtriers en herbe vont de nouveau faire le constat que la vraie richesse, c'est la famille.
