Cependant, personne ne semble croire la jeune femme qui soupçonne l’existence d’un vampire et la pauvre se voit contraint de lutter seule pour enrayer l’épidémie menaçant d’infecter la région. De son côté, Saeki finit par découvrir que la clé du mystère réside dans un événement traumatisant survenu durant la jeunesse de sa copine, laquelle, partie à la recherche de son petit chien disparu, avait découvert une grotte servant de cachette à un dangereux personnage...
