Elie & Dieudonné - Une certaine idée de la France
Les deux compères frappent un nouveau grand coup un soir de décembre 1994, en seconde partie de soirée sur France 2. L'émission s'intitule 'L'avis des bêtes', sous-titrée 'Une certaine idée de la France'. Il s'agit d'une série de faux reportages façon journal télévisé, consacrés à des sujets aussi divers que le lancer de tatanes, la Légion étrangère (et ses bizuths), la secte des Guy (et son gourou, le grand Guy Liguili) ou encore le clip du 'Nucléar Spirit Man', fameux morceau de bravoure de Kent Master King, alias Dieudonné grimmé en clochard rasta désinvolte, qui déambule au milieu des cartons en sifflottant : "J'suis tranquille, j'suis peinard, j'marche seul sur mon trottoir, j'ai personne à emmerder, et personne me fait chier, les flics et la politique, c'est pas mon blème, Musulmans et catholiques, j'm'en cure le zen".

Johan is a two-fisted Gothenburg cop who finds himself in a shoot-out with jewel robbers. After the smoke has cleared, one robber, shot by his accomplice, and an innocent bystander, are dead. Three witnesses, including Helen, identify thug extraordinaire Leo Gaut as being the dead crook's trigger-happy colleague. Gaut soon threatens the three witnesses, and only Johan, the badge-wearing hero, can save them.
