Patricia Gibson-Brown habite une maison isolée en pleine Campagne du Kent, noyée sous la pluie et le brouillard... Un crime va être commis dans cette demeure si spécifiquement anglaise. Prévenu par un appel anonyme, l'inspecteur de police Lord se présente et l'enquête commence. Mas la maîtresse de maison est une délicieuse personne, assez originale, qui adore les crimes et l'imprévu. Elle compliquera la tâche du policier et celle du spectateur. The outcome of this mixture is a film which captures the lives and perspectives of some of Wrangelkiez’s most commanding citizens, while at the same time evoking the loss that change and time passing means for places and for people.
